Outplacement Support Pricing Guide

Clear, practical pricing for organisation-funded career transition support

Outplacement support should not feel like a mystery box.

This pricing guide is designed to give organisations a clear sense of the likely investment before starting a conversation. Final pricing may depend on cohort size, access length, timescale, admin requirements and the level of individual support included. The structure below gives you a practical starting point.

The core support is built around The Senior Job Search Programme, a self-paced, recruiter-led programme for experienced professionals navigating redundancy, restructuring or a difficult return to the job market.

For larger groups, individual support can be added in defined numbers rather than automatically included for every participant. This keeps the support focused, manageable and proportionate, while still giving employees access to clear, practical guidance when they need it.

How the pricing works

The pricing is built around three simple routes: programme access only, programme access with a 30-minute strategy call included, or standalone strategy calls without programme access.

The most scalable option is organisation-funded access to The Senior Job Search Programme. This gives employees structured, recruiter-led support they can work through at their own pace, with guidance across CVs, LinkedIn, applications, recruiter behaviour, interviews, confidence and the modern hiring process.

For organisations that want every employee to have a personal checkpoint as well, programme access can include one 30-minute Senior Search Strategy Call per person. This gives each employee the full programme plus a focused conversation to clarify their direction, positioning or next steps.

For organisations that already have wider outplacement support in place, standalone strategy call banks are also available. Enhanced support, including CV Reviews, LinkedIn Reviews or more tailored packages, can be discussed separately for smaller or more senior cohorts.

Outplacement costs in the UK can vary widely, from lower-cost online or group support through to more expensive executive-level packages with significant one-to-one coaching. Hired Not Retired sits in the practical, recruiter-led space, giving organisations structured support for experienced employees without building a large consultancy-style package that may not be proportionate, affordable or realistic to deliver properly.

Programme access

Structured support for the wider cohort.

Programme + strategy call

Programme access plus one individual 30-minute call.

Standalone strategy call

Defined 1:1 support where it is most useful.

Enhanced support

Tailored help for smaller or senior groups.

Option 1: Programme Access

Best for organisations that want structured, self-paced job search support for a larger group of experienced employees.

This option gives employees access to the full Senior Job Search Programme and supporting resources, without individual 1:1 calls included as standard.

It works well when an organisation wants to provide practical, recruiter-led outplacement support at scale, especially where employees need clear guidance they can revisit as they move through CV updates, LinkedIn improvements, applications, recruiter conversations and interviews.

Important note

This option does not include individual 1:1 calls as standard.

That is intentional. For larger cohorts, automatic individual calls can quickly become impractical and unnecessary for every employee. The programme gives everyone access to structured support, while individual help can be added separately where it is most useful.

These prices are intended as a guide. Final pricing may vary depending on access length, cohort structure and any additional support required, but this gives organisations a clear starting point before making an enquiry.

Option 2: Programme Access + Individual Strategy Call

Best for organisations that want employees to have structured programme access plus one individual strategy conversation.

This option includes access to The Senior Job Search Programme, plus one 30-minute Senior Search Strategy Call for each employee included in the cohort.

It works well when an organisation wants every employee to have both the full self-paced programme and a focused conversation to help them clarify direction, positioning, route to market or what to prioritise next.

The programme gives employees the structure. The call gives them a personal checkpoint.

That means they can work through the guidance in their own time, then use their call to sense-check their next steps, ask specific questions or get clearer on where their search may be getting stuck.

Option 3: Standalone Strategy Call Bank

For organisations that want individual recruiter-led support without programme access.

Some organisations may already have a wider outplacement provider, internal HR support or existing resources in place, but still want to offer employees access to focused senior job search conversations with a recruiter.

In that case, a standalone Strategy Call Bank can be arranged without programme access.

These calls can help employees clarify their positioning, understand where their search may be getting stuck, sense-check their route to market, prepare for recruiter conversations or identify what to prioritise next.

Standalone calls can be allocated by the organisation, offered to employees on a first-come basis, or reserved for employees who need more individual direction.

Standalone call bank pricing

Because this does not sit alongside programme access, standalone call banks are priced separately.

10 x 30-minute calls
£900

25 x 30-minute calls
£2,125

50 x 30-minute calls
£4,000

Standalone calls can be allocated by the organisation, offered to employees on a first-come basis, or reserved for employees who need more individual direction.

Option 4: Enhanced Support

For organisations that want a more tailored package for smaller cohorts, senior employees or individuals who need additional CV, LinkedIn or one-to-one support.

Enhanced support is designed for situations where programme access or strategy calls alone may not be enough.

This might be useful for smaller cohorts, senior leaders, long-serving employees, people returning to the job market after many years, or employees who would benefit from more direct feedback on how they’re presenting themselves.

Rather than trying to force everyone into the same support model, this option allows the organisation to build a more tailored package around the people affected, the timescale involved and the level of support required.

Support could include

Access to The Senior Job Search Programme

30-minute Senior Search Strategy Calls

60-minute Senior Search Strategy Calls

Comprehensive CV Reviews

Comprehensive LinkedIn Reviews

Tailored support for senior or complex career histories

Indicative guide values

Senior Job Search Programme
£390 individual value

30-minute strategy call
Included in the full public programme

60-minute strategy call
£195 individual value

Comprehensive CV Review
£125 individual value

Comprehensive LinkedIn Review
£125 individual value

Enhanced support is quoted separately because the right structure will depend on cohort size, employee seniority, timescale and how much individual support is needed.

Which option is likely to fit?

Not every organisation needs the same level of support, and not every employee will need the same route through it.

For larger groups, Programme Access is usually the cleanest starting point. It gives everyone structured, recruiter-led support without trying to push every employee into a one-to-one model they may not need.

For organisations that want every employee to have a personal checkpoint, Programme Access + Individual Strategy Call gives people the structure of the programme plus one focused conversation to help them clarify their next step.

For organisations that already have wider outplacement support in place, Standalone Strategy Calls can add focused, recruiter-led conversations without duplicating the support employees already have.

For smaller cohorts, senior employees or more complex career histories, Enhanced Support may be more appropriate because the package can include CV Reviews, LinkedIn Reviews, longer calls or a more tailored combination of support.

The aim is to choose the level of support that is genuinely useful, not to build the most complicated package possible for the sake of it.

Talk to Nikki about organisation-funded outplacement support

If you’re planning redundancy, restructuring or career transition support for experienced employees, the best next step is a short conversation.

You don’t need to know the exact package before getting in touch. I can look at the size of the cohort, the level of seniority, the timescale involved and the type of support that would be most useful, then shape something realistic around that.

The aim is to give employees practical, recruiter-led support they can actually use, without building a package that sounds impressive on a slide and then quietly becomes impossible to deliver well.

Typical enquiries include programme access, strategy call packages, CV Reviews, LinkedIn Reviews or tailored support for senior employees.

Outplacement pricing FAQs

Is outplacement support legally required in the UK?

Outplacement support is not automatically a legal requirement in the UK, but many organisations choose to provide it as part of a responsible redundancy, restructuring or career transition process. It can help employees move into the market with clearer CVs, stronger LinkedIn profiles, better interview preparation and a more realistic understanding of how hiring works now.

What affects the cost of outplacement support?

The main factors are cohort size, seniority level, timescale and how much individual one-to-one support is included. Larger groups may be well suited to programme access, while smaller or more senior groups may benefit from strategy calls, CV Reviews, LinkedIn Reviews or a more tailored package.

Do all employees need one-to-one support?

Not always. Some employees will be able to work through structured guidance independently, especially if they mainly need help with CV positioning, LinkedIn, recruiter behaviour and route to market. Others may need a personal checkpoint, particularly if they have been with the organisation for many years, feel uncertain about their direction or have a more complex senior career history.
